Latisse®

Get ready for a new innovation in lashes. Now you can grow longer, fuller, darker lashes. It's not an illusion, it's your own eyelashes- enhanced!

RestylaneLatisse® is the first prescription treatment approved by the FDA for the treatment of small or thin eyelash growth. When applied regularly on a daily basis, the Latisse product can result in the growth of significantly longer, fuller, darker upper eyelid lashes. The product was discovered by researchers who were working on another eye care product, and quickly marketed for lash growth. Latisse® makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient: bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is not known, research suggests that the growth of eyelashes occurs by increasing the percent of hairs in, and the duration of, the anagen (or growth) phase. Lashes can grow longer, thicker and darker because bimatoprost can also prolong this growth phase.

What to expect when using Latisse®

Latisse® is a once-a-day treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. Great eyelashes don't just happen overnight. It works from the inside out. As the treatment progresses, you'll begin to see changes in length, thickness and darkness gradually. Once you begin treatment, you could start to see results in as little as 4 weeks, but you must continue applying the topical treatment each night and follow the directions for best results. After week 16, you'll see the full effect of Latisse® — and so will others. Remember results are gradual over time. The lashes which grow as a result of the Latisse program will last for the natural duration of the eyelash growth cycle, which is usually 1 to 2 months.

The Best Candidates For Latisse®

Any individual who wants to experience fuller, thicker, darker upper lashes is a potential candidate for the Latisse® program. Any individual on antibiotics, heart emdication, or other drugs, as well as those with severe allergies, skin conditions, neurological and certain other diseases, as well as those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should discuss these conditions prior to beginning the program.
